FAQ

Traveling thru Navajo Nation? (Updated 3/23/2021)

All roads through the reservation are open and there are no hard closures that I am aware of.  However, the Navajo Nation is still under a daily curfew from 9:00 pm to 5:00 am and all businesses are closed. Attached is the latest Public Health Emergency Order.

On Page 3, Item E, there is the following statement:
E.            The Navajo Nation’s roads remain closed to visitors and tourists for the duration of the declared public health emergency, and visitors and tourists are required to refrain from traveling to the Navajo Nation at this time.
I believe this pertains to visitors or tourists wanting to visit the Navajo Nation, tribal parks, etc. but not people just passing through the Navajo Nation going to other destinations.
